Swift under blue skies
Dancing with welcoming winds
Summer friends returned

Sunburst

Poor dandelion
A sunburst among concrete
Yet so unwelcome

Gravity grasping
Wind blasted, rotted, hollowed
The old oak still stands

A hedgehog snuffles
While man sleeps, many beasts toil
Forest springs to life!
